1.1 Application cases
Let's begin.
In our first lesson of this chapter, let's take a look one more time at the application cases in Europe.
As we discussed in generic chapter, main use cases of spraying drones are in farming, in forestry, as well as they have industrial and sanitary application.
As already mentioned in previous chapter, we recommend focusing on the spraying of fertilizers and spreading of cover and catch crops, as drone spraying of pesticides in most European countries is restricted or prohibited.
By the time pesticides are legalized, you should already have a pool of clients for jobs like spreading seeds and spraying of organic product, which means you will be able to choose which jobs are better suit your business strategy.
As we will discuss in the next lesson, pesticide spraying is more time consuming and more hazardous for pilots. We will compare both activities and you will have a better understanding to make a decision.
We will analyse farming industry in more details, as this is the main direction for agricultural drone service development.
Let's move to the next section, where we will see, who are your main clients and what are the client demands in farming.
